Love is in the air and in the Chocolate around the middle of February. Every Valentine’s Day it seems like people give the exact same thing. A box of chocolates, a cheesy teddy bear, bath products, sexy intimate apparel, jewelry, it’s all totally predictable! While a lot of people wouldn’t complain about acquiring a gift from someone they love, there must be more personal ways of revealing your love and affection. If you feel like your gifts are becoming gushy from year to year and you want to step it up a notch, why not make something yourself that says that you took the time to create something that comes from your heart. Not only will this mean more, but it will be unique and genuinely show your feelings in a way that no greeting card can. Here are some ideas that will show you really care. You could A love letter or poem is a tradition as old as time, yet in modern times this form of expressing your love has been largely forgotten. You don’t have to be a good writer to put down in words your feelings for someone. Just begin writing and let your emotions flow through the pen. Even if it is not worthy of a literary award, your love will appreciate it and love it because it came from the your heart. These are great ways to show that special someone how much you really care on that one day of the year declared I love you day. There are lots creative ideas for creating romance without spending lots of money such as Give them a full body massage. Lay out the massage oils, light some candles, start the mood music, and create a comfortable place for them to lay down and relax. Spend an hour giving them a much needed massage paying special attention to areas where they carry the most stress. If you’re lucky, maybe they’ll return the favor. I love Valentines day with all this positive energy of love and romance and caring. If all else fails you could Create a scavenger hunt. Come up with clever clues which you can write out on decorative clue cards leading your loved one around town or just around the house from one clue to the next. At the end, present them with a gift or set the mood with a romantic hideaway which they’ve worked for by answering all of the clues correctly. A friend recently told me that he sent a gift basket to his wife last year for Valentine’s day and she loved it because it contained things that you don’t find in most stores. Great gourmet chocolates, flavored nuts, wine, olives and more great chocolate. It made him look really good and this very romantic holiday. I could have sent him a Valentine's Gift For Your Men. Show your man you care with this classy upscale gold and black striped gourmet gift box. It's filled with all his favorite snacks and a small teddy bear that say's 'I love you more than Chocolate!', Honey roasted peanuts, beef jerky, Chocolove milk chocolate bar, cheddar cheese, crackers, beef summer sausage, buttered popcorn, tortilla chips, medium salsa, chocolate chip cookies, and cinnamon bears. If these ideas have sparked your interest or given you a good starting point for planning out your Valentine’s Day, please pass this along via Facebook or Twitter.
